This brand is still not part of our shop, but we still love it (everything about it, specially this first summer collection – SS17)
Bandy Button is a French brand created in 2006 by Jessica Ben- Ami, addicted to kids fashion since her two main sources of inspiration her two daughter, April and Joey were born (sounds familiar?).
Jessica started by creating hand made pieces of clothing for her children and her friends’ ones but soon she was overwhelmed. Thanks to her entrepreneur husband, they decided to create a “real collection”.
The essence of “Bandy Button” is to create “cool” clothes in which kids will feel comfortable to play and discover the world of freedom.
The prints and illustrations are all handmade. The opening collection is based on Los Angeles in the 70’s, in a relaxed atmosphere filled with roller skates, skate boards, shorts, overalls and Teddy jackets..
Let’s hope to meet them at Loja Dada for Kids in SS18.
What do you think? Good idea?
Another brand to watch. And i say that not like an expert from a trend agency.
I say that from me to you. It’s a nice small brand. It doesn’t rock the world – better so.
Sometimes, less is more, specially if it is full of nice little details and with a careful production. Deep inside we are all looking for the simple things and to go back to some point in time that feels secure.
Fish & Kids symbolizes a return to the past, always with an updated, fresh and daring feel. Commodity and ease of mixing garments between one another as well as being almost all unisex is another key point of the collections.
Soon at Loja Dada for Kids! We are looking forward.
I saw this brand at Playtime last winter and fell in love with its simplicity – as most of the time, lately.
Everything is becoming busy and complex, too much “information” everywhere (noise) and so i guess my mind always feels drawn towards the simple brands, pieces, colors etc.
I am an absolute fan of quality over quantity, and i love to have a few great items that we can use over and over, and it instantly became clear to me that this brand would fit my shop.
And when i started talking to In-Yeo Couperus, the brand creator and designer, it was clear to me that i would have to order some items for theAW17 collection of Loja Dada for Kids.
This picture is taken from their Facebook page, you can also check their instagram to understand the feeling i am talking about, or as they put it on their webpage:
“We seek sense of timeless repose in children’s wear
Where comfort and design meet harmoniously through colors, forms and textures
Where the endless imagination of children” connects with the modern aesthetics of parents in unique, lasting pieces”
Please look forward to a little selection from this gorgeous brand on Loja Dada for Kids sometime soon (AW17 will launch somewhere between July and August, in the middle of our deserved summer vacation!).
